The path to business ownership can take various forms. For me, it began on the morning of September 11th. While in New York City for a business trip, I witnessed the second plane hitting the World Trade Center. At that time, I was employed in the technology consulting industry and frequently traveled across the country. The realization that I could have been on that plane struck me. It was time to break free from the corporate America rat race and pursue a life filled with purpose and passion.
I had an idea for a business. 25 years later that business grew to a successful, multi-million dollar franchised venture that focused on business to consumer marketing. 10 years ago I decided to sell that business, but the process wasn't as smooth as I would have liked. I spent countless hours educating potential buyers about my business. Many of those buyers were unqualified, had no interest in entrepreneurship and really were a distraction from my business.
I was frustrated and the emotional ups and downs led me to think there had to be a better way to sell a business.
That's when I started Trustmark Mergers & Acquisitions.
I've been able to leverage my years of experience in the technology industry with my marketing and commercial real estate background, to create a proven process to streamline business sales.
The end result is a system that draws accolades from both buyers and sellers alike. Neither feels their time is wasted.
I establish long term, enduring relationships with business owners, whether they are just embarking on the journey to entrepreneurship or if they are ready to retire.
You can trust me to get the job done.
