Last updated: May 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Trustmark Mergers & Acquisitions ("Trustmark," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information you provide through trustmarkmergers.com (the "Site"). By using the Site or contacting us, you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

Trustmark Mergers & Acquisitions is a confidential business brokerage and commercial real estate advisory firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The data controller is Mark Herrmann (markh@trustmarkmergers.com, 704-907-9503).

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

3. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Confidentiality of business information

Information you share about a business you may sell or acquire is held in strict confidence. The names, financial details, and operational information of sellers represented by Trustmark are not disclosed to prospective buyers until that buyer has signed a mutual non-disclosure agreement and passed our 12-step buyer screen. This confidentiality protocol applies to every engagement.

5. Service providers

We use a small set of trusted service providers to operate the site and our advisory practice:

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We share with them only what is necessary to provide the Site or respond to your inquiry.

6. Data retention

Inquiry and engagement records are retained for the duration of any active client relationship and afterward as required by federal and state recordkeeping rules applicable to business brokers. Newsletter subscribers may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us at markh@trustmarkmergers.com. We will respond within thirty (30) days.

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah have additional rights under their respective state privacy laws. We honor those rights upon verified request.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information you submit. This includes HTTPS encryption in transit, restricted access to client records, and limiting third-party processors to those with credible security practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children's information

The Site is intended for an adult, professional audience. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen (13).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted prominently on the Site for at least thirty (30) days.
